Tattoo Removal Options

You have probably read countless articles and information regarding the painful process of how to remove a tattoo, well friend I am here to tell you that everything you read is true, but there are better options. Getting inked was painful so why shouldn't the removal process be just as painful? Tattoo ink seeps down into the second layers of skin and imbeds itself into your skin cells making it very difficult to break up and remove. Though the process might take time and much pain it is a possible one. Removal options are:

Laser removal- painful but effective choice where a concentrated laser pulsates the skin reaching down into the second layer of skin to break up the ink. This can be very expensive.

Dermabrasion- is similar to that of a chemical face peel. The layers of skin are peeled back over a series of visits removing layers and fragments of ink as it goes.

Excision- has the ability to remove the tattoo in one surgical sitting. A chemical is sprayed onto your skin and freezes the skin allowing the tattooed skin to be cut out. This can be painful and bleeding can occur. Take note that depending on the size of the tattoo a skin graft might be needed from somewhere else on your body. This is a dangerous procedure and should only be used as a last resort.

Combo Treatment (least painful)- Products like Wrecking Balm use a combination of clinically tested formulas with FDA approved tools to gradually fade a tattoo. This is the least painful option and can also be the least expensive. Thousands of people have had amazing results with this product.
